The excitement is building as the video editing contest DOCUMOTO enters its second year in a row. This year’s competition promises to be even more thrilling than the last, with more participants and even more creative and innovative entries expected. Aspiring video editors from all over the world are invited to showcase their skills and talent by submitting their best video creations. The competition promises to be a great opportunity for contestants to showcase their editing skills and gain recognition in the creative field of MX Bikes. The judges are eagerly looking forward to the event, and are excited to see the submissions roll in. The competition promises to be a challenging yet exciting opportunity for all involved, and it’s sure to be an event to remember! Please don’t recycle material or old edits. We aren’t looking for video we’ve already watched, we want exciting new material.
CHANGES TO THIS YEARS COMP:
GEAR: ALL GEAR IS ALLOWED, WITH ONE EXCEPTION… YOU MUST WEAR THE PROVIDED GLOVES IN THE FULL DURATION OF YOUR EDIT.
EDITING TIME: TWO MONTHS IS NOW WHAT YOU HAVE TO FILM, EDIT, AND SUBMIT.

The Process:
Step 1: All uploads will be reviewed after the final submission date within 7-14 days by Valor & The Fat Friends. From here, we will narrow down the entirety of submissions to the 10 TOP FAVORITES.
Step 2: The Final Judging Process Begins! Your final judges will be the No Namers Collective. They will be livestreaming the viewing/judging process for the final 10 top edits via SWERD on Twitch. These edits may be watched more than once to ensure a valid judgement for the winner. Thank you to Pelster, Panicrev, CeeBigs, PepeSilvia, & JLO for taking on this task to ensure fair judgement, and Swerd for streaming!
Step 3: The final winner will be announced live on stream, followed with two additional to close out the podium. In addition, the award recipients will also be announced to finalize the honors. Remember, if you were selected for the top 10, you are already considered as one of the best!

This award highlights your innovation within your project. For being what the judges felt as most creative, you will be awarded a shirt & hat bundle with official Valor merchandise.
THE VISIONARY
AKA GREAT QUALITY
This award highlights the quality within your art. The judges could tell significant effort was put into the quality of your project, you will be awarded a duffel bundle from the official Valor shop.
Be aware that all final selected submissions, including the winners of placed awards, remain eligible to earn any additional honors.
Requirements
Please observe all to avoid being disqualified
Riders: ONE RIDER RULE. Kindly refrain from incorporating additional individuals within your edits. Maintain the focus exclusively on yourself. While peripheral shots and off-center clips of others can be included, prioritize keeping the spotlight on you.
Runtime: Minimum 90 Seconds (1 Minute & 30 Seconds) – Max 180 Seconds (3 Minutes)
Quality: 1920×1080 MINIMUM resolution. No vertical TikToks or poor-quality uploads.
Gear: Any gear can be worn overall. ALTHOUGH, you must be wearing the provided gloves in your edit & they must be visible and not exchanged once for any other gloves throughout the duration of your video. We’re not asking to see your gloves in every shot, but we need to prove you followed the rules. They are included in the zip at the bottom of the page, please follow this rule.
Logos: Please download the required zip for the logo files that must be included. You may include your personal logo, but not logos that showcase your team, associations, sponsors, etc. in this competition. Please keep in mind, using these logo splashes to increase time to the allocated amount will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and can also result in disqualification.
Music: Please note, we are not including any strict guidelines for the music you choose to use for the edits. Use any music you would like. If this effects the livestream (due to copyright issues), we will continue the discussion in the Valor Discord.
Privacy: Please upload this video to YouTube as unlisted and then share the link with us in your submission. DO NOT post your finished product to any platform for public viewing until after the competition. If you share your content with any of the judges prior to competition you will be immediately disqualified.

Another point we unfortunately feel like we need to mention… This competition is for editors, therefore, we are limiting it one edit per person. Please do not pay another to make your edit, to capture your clips, and (or) to put your project together. We want this to be fair, and allow everyone to get creative and embrace their own talents, work to get better, and absolutely kill it on their submission. You have time, please use this time, to make something yourself that not only you can be proud of, but that we can be proud of too.
